REVIEW: AYA COSMETICS' BARE BASICS LIPSTICK COLLECTION

Say Goodbye to toxic and harmful beauty products. Stay safe, Eco friendly and choose natural. Loving this brand from Australia that create products which naturally enhance the beauty in you. AYA cosmetics are vegan-based and cruelty-free, meaning that they are not made up of nor tested on animals. Products are made without nasty additives: parabens, propylene or butylene glycol, sodium lauryl sulfates, pesticides, phthalates, artificial dyes or synthetic fragrances. They also avoid compromising the environment by using packaging derived from post-consumer, recycled and bio-degradable materials. Best ways to promote a cleaner, kinder and greener view on modern cosmetics.

Packaging & Design:

I love the idea of using recycled materials as packaging. The usual lipsticks are packed with metals or plastics but these goodies are made of cardboad, amazing and unique form of lipstick tube packaging. light-weight and nature friendly. It is easy to clean and keep clean. I personally love the printing of labels as well.

These are cardboard-like lipstick packaging.

Scent and Texture:

I was amazed to see the list of ingredients that can be found mostly in the kitchen. It is full of waxes or oils instead of chemicals. The ingredient seems like a recipe for me. The lipstick does have a soft flower-like scent and It has this gentle and very pleasant type of smell. The texture of the lipstick is soft that it is easy to manipulate, control and apply on the lips.

Naturally Nude, Just Peachy, In the Buff, Particularly Pink

Here's an "AFTER" photo of me wearing my favorite shade, "Just Peachy"; I wore this shade for around six hours.

Overall Review/Conclusion:

To complete the review of Bare Basics Collection lipsticks from AYA, I think these lipsticks are perfect for almost all skin types. I never thought these shades would match my skin color. I would love to wear this on summer, just perfect for the beach. You can actually wear this when drinking and eating (evenly) but let’s say you don’t eat and drink for some reason, the lipstick can last all day without reapplying a lip sealer.

OWL, LEOPARD, AND HOUNDSTOOTH

This outfit shoot yesterday at Ritz Hotel, Obrero. An ootd for a birthday pool party I recently attended. By the way, before sharing my story about this place and to some of you who leaved questions on ask fm asking how was my 18th birthday party or debut party. Well, Six years ago, there was a big party held in this place, particulary at the garden area. We celebrated it the traditional way with 18 roses, candles, treasures, and so on. My mom prepared everything for me. The whole thing is kind of ridiculous to me, that you need to have a huge grand party because you're 18. If I could turn back time, It would be a simple party with my family and close friends in a restaurant, and ask mom to buy me a car instead of a pricey party, lol! If you're not a party type, I tell you, you don't need to have a big party. I loved this place since then, and the transformation of this area is a whole lot beautiful now. Perfect place to chill during weekends.

Please don't forget to comment your 18th birthday stories. Have a nice day!
