MONOCHROME TRIBAL SUMMER

 With two of this season's hottest trends rolled into one, this monocrome tribal bodycon made it to my kind of summer fashion tribe. As you can see, I'm slowly getting all the monochrome items for summer and hoarding up to the last minute. I am really crazy for monochrome these days. The black and white garment of this dress featured an unusual pattern and is such a stand-out piece for me. A big fat yes to aztec prints, I am so glad it's still a huge trend. Necessary clothing is really the best shop on earth!

I stayed at home on a sunday, playing with the kitties. Bored and missing the usual sunday family routine, wishes I was laying on a beach listening to the ocean waves, feel the sun on my face, sand in between my toes, the wind blowing my hair.. Aaah! I am day dreaming again. There's no place like the beach. Anyway, I am sporting a kitty bodycon which is by the way my daughter's favorite dress recently. I am a kitty-cat lover forever and you will be seeing me wear more kitty fashion stuffs.

So watch out for that.

LOVELY LILACS

Grasses are really noticeable when they are flowering. I am so glad we found these lovely lilac flowers on the park, it was really nice to include them to my outfit shots. An awesome location that really goes well with my look. Sporting a lilac chiffon dress with the flower crown for a vintage touch-up. Pastel dress is timeless, and looks great during the day, and for evening.  Lilac is one of the must-wear shades this spring/summer 2013. So if you are wondering what shoes color match a lilac dress, it is always best to wear a color lighter than the dress, or a black. Best ones are silver, gold, cream, nude, and white. Anything in pastel somehow make the outfit super fem.

During May, it's all about flowers. Popping up all over the season's fashion trend during May month. This means, we get to enjoy the floral fever. We're feeling the floral power with this year's trend, the crafty sunnies. Turned my old boring sunnies into feminine flair, great for a DIY project using only fabric and glue. Cheltenham Races - Fashion round-up

The Cheltenham Races is a flurry of fascinators, fine fillies and fantastic fashion, regardless of the British weather. Despite some bitterly cold conditions, race-going fashionistas put their best foot forward this year to brighten up their surroundings with an array of show-stopping outfits. A number of key trends stood out around the racecourse, including dazzlingly bright colour, florals and feathered hats.

Florals

A firm favourite around the grounds was floral print. Found on day dresses, tailored suits and even on shoes, the most chic Cheltenham racegoers updated their outfits for 2013 by opting for digital floral prints, neon colours and oversized blooms.

Feathered hats

A new entry in the style stakes came this year with the popularity of feathered hats. Offering an alternative to the fascinator, feathered hats came in all shapes and sizes. Royal Zara Phillips looked stunning in a tiny black hat decorated with circular peacock feathers, while a huge red and black number decorated with sweeping feathers won visitor Lystra Adams the award for best hat on Ladies Day.

Neon brights

In cold conditions, nothing puts a bit of warmth back into the atmosphere like a neon bright dress, shoes or hat. Some visitors dressed up a little black or white dress with neon pink or green shoes, while others added flashes of colour to their hats with ultra-bright stripes, checks or ribbons.

Vintage looks

It appears Mad Men style is here to stay. A popular look came in the form of tailored suits in pastel colours, dressed up with chic pillbox hats, huge sunglasses and ladylike handbags. Other fashion-conscious race-goers opted for 1950s style full skirts, paired with car coats and oversized pearl jewellery.

Cossack hats

Taking inspirations from films such as Dr Zhivago and Anna Karenina, the luxurious fur Cossack hat provided much needed warmth in the sometimes rather cold conditions. The Duchess of Cambridge's sister Pippa Middleton stood out in a bright yellow coat and a fluffy brown fur hat, which she paired with Givenchy sunglasses and brown suede knee boots.

RAINY SUMMER LOOK

If it's raining in summer and you want to brighten up your day, these colors are perfect. I really love the summer 2013 colors, if you still remember those things on my old blog post. It was very gloomy and rainy here in Azalea, Samal. To bring a little color to my day, I decided to pick from Pantone's summer colors. keeping it bright and flawless. I am so happy that it all goes well together.

Can I share a confession now? These pair of litas I'm wearing now are from my love, Two years ago, I was really desperate to have something like this without minding the color, so I asked him to buy me a pair for the sake of valentine's day. That was so funny then. A pair like these don’t look as bulky and “rainy” as normal rain boots would

Honestly, when I wore this outfit, I thought I wouldn't be able to take any outfit shots. It was rush hour and the sun was setting but I need an outfit photos. I was worried for not being able to get the perfect outdoor lighting. Sorry for dark outfit photos and thanks to my cutie cousin for taking my photos.

If it's layering that you want on summer, layer it on for pastels. My kind of top is the bustier of course! Bustiers from themselves are tricky, it is more flattering to layer them.  Got this bustier from my Aunt 6 years ago, it's like it just sleeps in my closet for a long time there.

BIRDS ON TIGER

Oh my! No! This isn't an article about wild life, but about these two different animal prints I'm wearing now. Some of the trendiest graphic prints come straight from mother nature herself. Animal prints have roaring long been a popular style, eye-catching and irresistible to wear. You need courage to wear two different animal prints together. Maybe it's a two way thing, as when properly worn it can become a real fashion statement, but when pulled off weirdly it turns into a major fashion disaster. So. Let me ask you some stupid questions. Am I wild enough to handle the jungle? What do you think?
